Seven Star Snail E-Commerce Co.,Limited operates Exploded Parts, a Shopify app that helps merchants create interactive parts diagrams. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the app, its storefront diagram viewer, or this website.

1. Information we process

• Store and installation information: your Shopify store domain and identifiers, installation status, granted app permissions, and app subscription information needed to identify your plan and enforce its limits.
• Product information: Shopify product and variant identifiers, titles, handles, SKUs, images and related product metadata used to select a parent product, link parts, and keep diagrams up to date.
• Content you provide: uploaded diagram images, diagram titles, part labels, anchor and label positions, appearance settings, product links and publication status.
• Authentication information: Shopify session tokens processed to verify requests, and app access and refresh tokens stored encrypted on our server. We do not ask for or store your Shopify password.
• Operational information: connection diagnostics, error codes, request identifiers, task status and technical logs. Our web server and hosting services may also record IP addresses, browser information, request times and accessed URLs for security and operation.
• Communications: information you choose to send when contacting us for support or making a privacy request.

The app does not request access to Shopify customer accounts or orders and does not store customer purchase histories or payment card details. Please do not put customer personal information into diagram images or labels.

2. How we use information

We use information to authenticate your store, create and publish diagrams, display linked parts on product pages, maintain product links, identify your subscription, apply plan limits, respond to support requests, investigate errors and protect the service. We do not sell this information or use it for targeted advertising.

Where applicable, we process information to provide the service you request, for legitimate interests in maintaining and securing the service, to comply with legal obligations, or with consent where required.

3. Storage and service providers

Diagram records, settings and encrypted app credentials are stored in our application database. Uploaded diagram images are processed by the app and saved in your store's Shopify Files. Published diagram data is written to a Shopify product metafield so the theme app block can display it.

We share information with Shopify and hosting or technical service providers only as needed to deliver and operate the app, and may disclose information when legally required. Shopify manages app subscription approval and billing; we do not collect payment card details.

Information may be processed in the countries where our hosting providers and Shopify operate, which may differ from your country. Applicable legal requirements govern international transfers. Contact us for information about current hosting arrangements.

4. Storefront viewing and cookies

The storefront diagram viewer uses diagram content and product links to display interactive labels, zoom and drag controls. It does not add advertising trackers or send diagram interaction analytics to our application server. Loading images from Shopify's content delivery network and visiting linked products remain subject to the merchant's and Shopify's privacy practices.

Merchant app authentication uses Shopify session tokens rather than relying on third-party login cookies. Our separate operator management area uses essential session cookies for authorized administrators. Shopify and the merchant's theme may use their own cookies, as described in their policies.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain app records while needed to provide the service. Uninstalling removes our stored Shopify app credentials when Shopify delivers the uninstall notification. Diagram records may remain temporarily to support reinstallation; when Shopify delivers a shop data-erasure request, the app deletes the shop's application records and stored credentials.

Our application incident records are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Other technical logs, support correspondence and any provider backups are retained as needed for security, recovery, support or legal obligations, and removed when no longer needed. Backup deletion may occur according to the provider's retention cycle.

Files and content stored in your Shopify store are under the merchant's control. Deleting our server-side records does not promise deletion of every file or published item in your Shopify store. You can manage Shopify Files and store content in Shopify admin, or contact us for assistance.

6. Your choices and rights

You can edit or delete diagrams in the app and uninstall it from Shopify admin. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or obtain a copy of personal information, or object to or restrict its processing. Contact us using the details below. We may ask for information necessary to verify the request before responding.

Customers seeking information about a merchant's store or an order should contact that merchant. We acknowledge Shopify customer privacy requests; the app itself does not maintain Shopify customer-account or order records. Where applicable, you may also raise a concern with your local data-protection authority.

7. Security and policy changes

We use measures including encrypted app credential storage, authenticated requests and store-specific access controls to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change and will show the updated date on this page.
